Xbox.com Allowing IPv6 On June 8th

It’s not a big secret that we are running out, and in some cases out of IPv4 addresses. The folks who work behind the scenes on Xbox.com realize that IPv4 won’t be around forever, and have been transitioning the website to be compatible with IPv6. The first public test of Xbox.com IPv6 functionality will be on June 8th, 2011, aka, “World IPv6 Day“. Many other websites such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, Akamai, Limelight will be joining Xbox.com in this mass test.
