It was hard to choose words to describe Woodo so I decided to use Spanish phonetics instead, SO KA-YUUTE OMAIGAT!
Seriously though Woodo is simply brilliant. Simplicity is its strength and makes it such a pleasant experience. I can see how the game can be used therapeutically, call it a play and chill session. One may even say it is a remedy of stress in the gaming world. A perfect play for when you had a hard day at work or just want to scrub the Ls from the ego. Just pick up and play Woodo.
Woodo’s art and story is very charming. The world very detailed and made out of wooden blocks. I appreciated seeing the wooden fibers and the clunking sound made as you set the pieces.
Moving from the city life to the country side is a tough transition. It is up to you to help Woodo’s main character, Foxy, during this lifestyle transition. Through assembling and coloring the rooms with variety of shapes you feel as you were also moving in with Foxy into her new home. You unpack the colorful furnishings along with bits and pieces to the story. As you bring rooms to life and there is when you achieve a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. Today was a productive day.
The most beautiful part of Woodo is that it is a slice of life that we all eat and can relate to. We got through transitions and changes and have to adapt. The creator was fueled by her challenges and stress while transitioning from country to country and made it so we can experience it together. You can say all play an important piece to the bigger puzzle of life. So sit down and enjoy the vibes from Woodo. Be patient and connect the pieces bit by bit so that the picture of this thing we call life becomes clearer.
