Backtracking Sleeping Dogs

by Jack Wageron June 26, 2018
Triad gangs, an undercover cop and an open world. Despite sounding basic, Sleeping Dogs is set in a city that feels alive, along with voice acting that sells the story, and combat that makes the entire experience really fun!

Backtracking Superman Returns

by Jack Wageron January 22, 2018
The limitless possibilities of a digital world to bring an entire fantasy universe to life makes it seem like video games and superheroes would nearly be synonymous. But ask a gamer to name three good superhero video games that aren't part of Rocksteady's Batman Arkham series and there'll be silence. I mildly enjoyed The Death and Return of Superman on SNES, and was fairly excited to dive into Superman Returns on Xbox 360. My excitement rapidly faded.

Backtracking Tomb Raider

by Jack Wageron December 7, 2017
Rewind to mid 1990s, my friend had PlayStation and Tomb Raider, it was the coolest thing ever! I only played the original Tomb Raider for a few hours, and it wasn't until June 2015 that I played another Tomb Raider title, but this time it was the 2013 reboot. Was it worth the near 20 year wait? YES!

Backtracking Hydrophobia

by Jack Wageron November 15, 2017
Rewind to PAX East 2010, truOZ is in attendance and I say that he HAS to play Hydrophobia. Something about this game caught my eye and made me think it would be awesome. I don't remember if Oz ever played it at PAX East 2010, but I did buy Hydrophobia. It didn't quite live up to the hype I gave it, then again I played it 5 years after its release.

Pilot Getting Into Titan - Titanfall

Why Titanfall Is A Great Game

by Jack Wageron October 25, 2017
Released 5 months after the launch of Xbox One, Titanfall was supposed to be Xbox One's 'killer app'. Criticized for being shallow because it lacks a single player campaign, and other people ragged on it because they disliked the addition of titans (what!). Although once the dust settled, Titanfall still stands as my favorite FPS in a very long, long time.

Digital Game Rentals Are The Future

by Jack Wageron September 7, 2017
Game rentals used to be an integral part of every gamer's life. 3 day rentals from Blockbuster or Hollywood Video were definitely highlights of my weekends as a kid, but movie and game rental stores are gone. GameFly is still around, but I'd argue that game rentals in 2017 are dead. Here's my plan to revamp video game rentals.

Cryptozoic Bloody Noir Joker Hand Pics and Unboxing

by Jack Wageron August 31, 2017
Visiting Cryptozoic’s booth at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2017 was supposed to be simple. Walk to the booth, grab Harley Quinn Golden Goddess for Oz (sorry Oz), pay, then leave. Although once I got to Cryptozoic’s booth, something unexpected happened. I saw The Joker Calling Card Bloody Noir Edition, and I had to have it!

DRULcast #197 – Stream Sniping

by Jack Wageron August 1, 2017
Oz officially dives back into Fortnite. Then we are divided on the hot topic of stream sniping in PUBG. Onto a shared love and hate for LawBreakers. New levels in Hacktag, and what game does Oz randomly decide to play on Steam?
