Super Smash Bros. is scheduled to release October 3, 2014 for the 3DS and a few months later during the Holiday season for the Wii U.
Described today was the integration with the Amiibo figures which allow you to bring a figurine to life within the game and it carries your stats as it levels and becomes even more powerful.
The biggest news however has to be that you are given the option to customize your Mii and bring it into battle!
Each Mii can chose from one of three classes, Brawler, Swordfighter, and Gunner. Each of which have their own unique set of moves. The Brawler fights with fists only and does not carry a weapon. The swordfighter specializes in weaponry, and the gunner relies on shooting projectiles for victory. Aside from the classes, you also are given the option to chose up to 4 specials from a list of 12, each unique depending on the class you chose.
