For people who remember, Splinter Cell Conviction came with an invite to the Ghost Recon Future Solider beta. Back then the beta was supposed to late 2010. Then it was pushed to early 2011, so on and so forth. Finally, we have what appears to be a firm release date, January 2012! Most Ghost Recon games come out in early Spring (March/April), so an early 2012 beta does seem plausible with the rumored March retail release.
Also, if you’re a PS3 owner, or a 360 owner who didn’t buy Conviction, you can get into the beta by pre-ordering Ghost Recon Future Soldier, or following the Ghost Recon team on Twitter.
