Gotham City Impostors OUT TODAY!

Well, technically Gotham City Impostors was released yesterday, but it was only on PSN, oh wait sorry, SEN now, and Steam. Now we have some Xbox 360 love and thus, everyone gets to enter the madness that is Gotham City Impostors! Had a blast checking this game out during its beta phase about a week ago. Hit the jump for some screenshots, a video, and some more details.

On sale for the normal arcade price of $15, this game has a lot to offer! Playing this reminded me of the movie Kick-Ass and how every now and them you just want to be a hero, or sometimes the villain. Switching sides between fighting to protect under Batman’s name or joining in on the insanity that is the Joker. That’s not even the important part, what matters here is the gadgets this game has to offer. From grappling hooks, gliders, launchers, to bear traps, and jack-in-the-box’s. This game brings up absolute mayhem in the shooting scene. I definitely recommend checking out the demo as it is the traditional DRUL motto to try before you buy. I simply suggest this because this game is not for everyone, fast paced shooters with silly antics. Sounds irresistible, I know, so go play!

Press Release
Gotham City Impostors is an original first-person shooter where up to 12 players battle for control of an unhinged Gotham City overrun by impostors inspired by the DC Comics characters Batman and The Joker. Players can engage in deliriously fast paced, uniquely vertical, and completely unconventional urban warfare where progress supports leveling up and access to a mind-boggling array of customization options. Fans can unlock new Bats or Jokerz Impostor costumes and build their own specific load-out from a huge assortment of traditional and homebrew weaponry, equipment, and perks. Gadgets such as the Glider Rig, Grappling Hook, and Spring Boots give gamers unprecedented mobility options, while support items like the Bear Trap, Boomerang, and Body Armor open up new tactical options. The game will feature maps and modes inspired by DC Comics’ Batman license.

Can you spot the Impostor?

Oz plays Rocket League and is very bad at it, but at least he tries. As long as there are games to talk about, he's in his happy place.
