I’ve been playing a lot of Zelda A Link Between Worlds on my 3DS, it is quite possibly the best 3D game on the system.
I have not played a game with the 3D slider on since I got the system, until now. But this isn’t about the 3D in the game, it is simply about how a simple top down game was designed. There are so many details in the game but one that we rarely get to look into is how it is designed.
In a series titled Iwata Asks, Satoru Iwata and crew answer questions in interview form. In this specific one, he explains how team work brought them to trial and errors on the top down view!
