A world in which corrupted corporations are trying to take over. Taking advantage of those poor hard working souls. I know it sounds just like everyday like here on earth but these are the tough times at Dungeon Punks’ world. This is a RPG with tag-team capabilities. What does that exactly mean you ask? You can assign two characters to control and actively switch back and forth between them leaving you with that Marvel vs Capcom feel.
Build a team to smash up the enemy using combinations of melee and magic. I can’t stop comparing it to Sega’s, Altered Beast.Progressing through areas beat up the baddies and pick up the occasional loot. Let’ s talk action. Melee is basic for the most part and can get repetitive if that were the only method of combat. The spell casting can be compared to that of a fighting game. It’s not the variety buttons that produces a hadoken. Just a simple combination of buttons will allow different characters to unleash their fury. Game is still on the works but the mechanics show promise. At this point the game needs to do a bit more to capture my attention for further play. Artwork is great but the animation and action sequence can use some tuning.
