The full team is back for some old school discussions. As we’ve been gone for a while, we’ve recorded a long one here, therefore it’s been split up into two parts. Both share the same ending and intro (pre-intro music), but the middle bits are different.
262a focuses on both consoles, Microsoft’s Xbox Series X|S and Sony’s PlayStation 5. We discuss pricing, what we’re excited for (which we’re getting), and take a look at Xbox Game Pass, and PlayStation Plus.
262b is a rundown on games announced during the Sony Showcase, and a dive into the pricing of games as a few of the titles have been listed at $69.99, is this the new normal? Devil May Cry 5 is will run you $40 for the upgraded version, but should that be free? Remedy Entertainment, developers of Control announced that their upgraded game will also be $40, is this also a new normal?
Both of these share the same ending where we clean up a few things we forgot to bring up like Oculus Quest 2 pricing.
