Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out was legendary in its day, and is still the best boxing game ever made. It’s simple yet difficult, serious yet funny, and most importantly, it makes you feel like a real boxer. But what about that music though? Remarkable!

Punch-Out’s ‘Fight Theme’ can’t be explained, it can only be experienced. If you have never played Punch-Out, you need to find a way to play it right now! For those of us who have played Punch-Out, you already know what I mean. That deep bass with sizzling synths makes you want to sock King Hippo in his big belly, or Glass Joe in his oversized jaw. But when things don’t go your way, Fight Theme works against you, it’s music that makes you more angry and more aggressive. Fight Theme truly is a beautiful piece of art.

After you reminisce, check out this video of the man himself playing his own game – for the first time!
