Zombie, Horror & Sci-fi fans rejoice! Boston will get its first ever Walker Stalker Con!
Now you may be asking, wtf is that?! It all started with two guys, Eric Nordhoff and James Frazier who are huge fans of AMC’s “The Walking Dead”. So much so that they got invited to the set, and were able to meet the actors! From that experience they created a podcast, and soon after the idea of a convention focused around recreating those experiences they shared while visiting the set was born. The ability to be with other lovers of the undead, be able to meet the cast of horror movies, shows, and just share experiences in that world.
The first convention was in Atlanta, GA in 2013, which brought together a large number from the cast of “The Walking Dead”, and other actors from zombie and horror films. This event brought in well over 10,500 attendees. In March 2014, Chicago, IL got the Walker Stalker Con treatment, and due to its great success, the show will be making its debut in Boston!
The convention will be held at The Westin Boston Waterfront in Boston, MA on June 13-15, 2014.

Now I know this is a change from the normal here at DRUL HQ as we don’t really cover movies, or tv shows, but we do love ZOMBIES! Maybe this event will be the turn around point for us to start covering some more formats!
I can’t pass up the opportunity to watch The Boondock Saints with a Q+A along side, tons of meet and greets with the cast of “The Walking Dead”, why would anyone turn this opportunity down?
