According to an article published a few days ago on FoxBusiness There will be an auction held to sell IGN after a deal fell through where both parties failed to come to an agreement.
So this questions who’s going to own it afterwards… Estimates say that it will run anywhere around $100 million to own. Which is nothing compared to how much News Corp. paid in 2005, a cool $650 million. That deal included a few other sites as well, most of which were already sold, so who knows how much of a loss they are going to have with getting the $100 Million.
Better yet, how about we all just pool together our money, and run it ourselves!
