Video Game Awards Recap

I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since Spike kicked off this award ceremony. I can recall hating the idea of it and the mockery of something I loved. Each year seemed to be doing better than the last and honestly this one wasn’t too bad.
The premiers were great the laughs were there and host Sam Jackson is always a great time.

Here are the winners in case you missed out on the show. Few surprises but all well deserved. Unlike other years where it was predictable based on the advertisement!

Oz plays Rocket League and is very bad at it, but at least he tries. As long as there are games to talk about, he's in his happy place.

  • Yeah award shows do seem dated, but the integration they did with Smartglass/XBL was pretty cool. Nothing too over the top but it you feel some what part of the show.
