Backtracking Sleeping Dogs

by Jack Wageron June 26, 2018
Triad gangs, an undercover cop and an open world. Despite sounding basic, Sleeping Dogs is set in a city that feels alive, along with voice acting that sells the story, and combat that makes the entire experience really fun!

Backtracking Superman Returns

by Jack Wageron January 22, 2018
The limitless possibilities of a digital world to bring an entire fantasy universe to life makes it seem like video games and superheroes would nearly be synonymous. But ask a gamer to name three good superhero video games that aren't part of Rocksteady's Batman Arkham series and there'll be silence. I mildly enjoyed The Death and Return of Superman on SNES, and was fairly excited to dive into Superman Returns on Xbox 360. My excitement rapidly faded.

Backtracking Hotline Miami

by Jack Wageron January 31, 2015
I didn't understand the hype when Hotline Miami was released. I'm still not as hyped as some, but I did thoroughly enjoy my journey through 1980s Miami!

Backtracking Halo: CE Anniversary

by Jack Wageron September 11, 2014
Halo: Combat Evolved is the game responsible for putting Xbox on the map in 2001. Without Halo, I'm unsure how successful Xbox would've been. Despite Halo making Xbox what it was, I never cared about Halo: CE. Graphics are OK, story is mediocre, and there's only local multiplayer.

Backtracking Disney’s Bolt

by Jack Wageron May 2, 2014
Disney's Bolt... ugh, frustrating. It's a 'kid's game', any gamer should breeze right through it while experiencing a fun story, flashy graphics and overall a short game (4 hrs). Although, my expectations were everything this game is not. It's not bright but very dull colored, story is OK, and the game is insanely long. Very repetitive with sections that just drag on, not to mention numerous camera issues that make the entire experience more frustrating.

Backtracking Tornado Outbreak

by Jack Wageron March 10, 2014
From the second I saw this game I was 100% interested. Give me a good price and it's mine! Well, that good price came along and it became mine, digitally. Principle, become a huge tornado and destroy everything in your path. The coolest part about it is you, the tornado, a little tornado guy, so the tornado is a character and isn't just a bunch of wind that started because of crazy weather patterns.

Backtracking Crysis

by Jack Wageron February 17, 2014
Crysis is one of the most popular first person shooters of all time. It mainly receives merit because of its incredible graphics. Even today, 5 years after the game originally came out, Crysis is still a graphical marvel. Despite its age, it wasn't until Oct. 2011 when I started to play Crysis, and Nov. 2012 by the time I finished it.
