It’s almost time! Major Nelson confirms release date of Minecraft Xbox One Edition!
Arriving on Friday, September 5th, Xbox One owners will be able to enjoy Minecraft, only after a few hiccups in the original release date announced a few months back.
For those of you who owned it on Xbox 360, you are given one year to upgrade for $4.99 USD, after which it will go to its normal price of $19.99 USD.
Best of all, any downloaded content you have on 360 will carry over as well. To top things off, your worlds are also able to transfer! All that time spent creating those crazy buildings, bring them over and enjoy a world which is 36 times larger on Xbox One!
